454. William SEARLE

He was a sgt. in Rev. War.  On the day of the Wyoming Massacre, he was confined to the house with a wound from a rifle shot received a few days earlier.  He led some of the settlers back to Stonington later that year (1778).

Daughter of Andrew Frink and Abigail Billings.
Death date given by Patricia Burtch is 11 July 1806.


Dethick HEWITT

Son of Dea. Walter Hewitt and Elizabeth Dethic.  Dethic was killed in the Wyoming Massacre.


458. Constant SEARLE Jr

Birth place may have been Little compton, Rhode Island.  He was in the wyoming Massacre but escaptted the Indians.  They later settled in Providence, Rhode Island.

He took part in the wyoming Massacre battle, but managed to escape the Indians.

466. Anna MINER

! Anna MINER married Amos Hewitt 29 March 1774. She was the daughter of
 Simeon Miner  and Ann Hewitt. see Page 78 TM Descendants. Their son
 Amos was born in 1775. He was the only child.  He was lost at sea, and
 apparntly never found.  Anna moved to Cayuga, Co. New York to live with her
 son Amos.  She latter returned to Stonington, New London Connecticut and lived
 with  Amos's brother, Thomas Hewitt untill she died in 1838.
