Son of Solomon and Desire Miller.  He removed to Wiliston, Vermont, about 1788, where he was town clerk, Judge of Probarte, and clerk of theCounty and Supreme Court, as well as a member of the Governor's Council for a time.

He served in Revolutionay War from 17 June to 20 June 1782, in Capt. Stebbin's Comp., col David Ashley's Regt.

Birth date may be 1 Nov 1769.


1562. Edwin MINOR

He was a sailor aboard the same ship as his brother Benjamin at the time of his death.  From family leters we learn that he was married and had one daughter.

While the David listed as #703 (p.137) in Thomas Minor Descentants was born in
Norwich 26 Oct 1755, the other information and descendants listed is actually
for a David MINARD. (See Connecticut Men in the Revolution, see also Bill
Miner's letter of June 8, 1992).
