At an early age, Evelyn moved with her family to a farm near Auburn, Nebraska, and then to Peru, Nebraska. She was a 1933 graduate of Peru Training School and attended Peru College while working for the telephone company. After marrying Glen, they lived in Brock, Nebraska, and Nebraska City, before World Ward II. After the war they lived at Bratton Union, Neb.,and Auburn. Two sons were born to this union. Evelyn passed away on Jan 30, 1995, at Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn, having reached the age of 79 years and twelve days. Interment is in the Sheridan Cemetery, Auburn, Neb. Services held Thuirsday, Feb 2, 1995.
